The Bishkek City Administration completed installation of additional sections of traffic lights in the framework of Safe City project. Press service of the city administration reported.
Additional road signs and traffic lights’ sections were installed at the following intersections:
-7 April 7 — M. Gorky Streets (additional section, turn left, from north to south, 4 lanes);
— Kurmanjan Datka — Chui Avenue (traffic lights were relocated; time of additional sections was increased);
— Chui Avenue — Fuchik Street (turn from the second lane to the left, from west to east).
«Stopping prohibited» sign has been installed for unloading traffic on the western side of Isanov Street, between Chui Avenue and Kievskaya Street.
The second stop line has been removed at the intersection of Chui Avenue and Fuchik Street.
The city administration added that the second phase of the project will begin in the first third of March. Within its framework, nine more city intersections will be brought into line with GOST:
— Intersection of Bokonbaev Street — Manas Avenue;
— Intersection of Chui — Manas Avenues;
— Intersection of Chui Avenue — Pavlov Street;
— Intersection of Zhibek Zholu — Manas Avenues;
— Intersection of Mahatma Gandhi — Botaliev Streets;
— Intersection of Zhibek Zholu Avenue — Kurmanjan Datka;
— Intersection of Akhunbaev — Baitik Baatyr Streets;
— Intersection of Chui Avenue -Abdrakhmanov Street;
— Intersection of Baitik Baatyr — M. Gorky Streets.
