It is necessary to repair 750 kilometers of roads in Bishkek. Press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
According to it, the length of roads in the capital is 1,350 kilometers, sidewalks — 2,700 kilometers, 1,500 kilometers of which are to be repaired.
«It is required to repair 460 kilometers of roads in housing estates, within the boundaries of the old city — 290 kilometers,» the city administration noted.
They told that in the framework of the first phase of the project Development of the Road Network, 49 streets with a length of 95 kilometers were repaired, and within the project Restoration of the Road Surface of Bishkek — 23 streets with a length of 38 kilometers. It is planned to repair more than 70 kilometers in the framework of the second phase.
At least 130 kilometers of roads were repaired within three years as a part of Repair of Inter-Block and Intra-Microdistrict Roads project.
