At least 35 citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan were released from sexual slavery during a special operation in seven districts of Istanbul (Turkey). Haberler reports.
At least 85 people were reportedly detained during the operation, including 35 from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. All of them were taken to the public security office of Gayrettepe. It is noted that the members of the gang communicated with the girls in social networks, called them to work in Turkey. And after that, the girls got into sexual slavery.
«It became known that 20 people out of 85 suspected gang members, who were detained, would be handed over to judicial bodies for crimes related to human trafficking, organization of a brothel and prostitution. Other 30 will be interrogated, and 35 women with foreign citizenship will be sent back to their countries,» the statement says.
