State fee for employment of foreign workers has been increased in Kyrgyzstan. The head of the External Migration and Work with Diasporas Department of the State Migration Service of the republic Ulan Shamshiev told at a press conference.
According to him, the current fee is 4,000 soms, later it will be increased to 30,000 soms.
«Amendments to the External Migration Law were adopted in 2018. According to the changes, one business entity is not allowed to employ foreigners in a proportion of more than 20 percent of the total number of its employees. The state duty will cost individual foreign entrepreneurs 50,000 soms. This is done to simplify issue of work permits and reduce corruption risks,» Ulan Shamshiev told.
