Journalist Zhainagul Tazabekova died in a traffic accident in Bishkek. The Traffic Safety Department of the capital confirmed the information.
The traffic accident reportedly occurred on February 10.
«Driver of Mercedes Benz car, moving in western direction, lost control of the vehicle and ran into an obstacle at the intersection of Akhunbaev and Kyrk-Kyz Streets. As a result, the wife of the driver, Zhainagul Tazabekova, died at the scene of injuries. The driver was hospitalized with head injury,» the traffic police reported.
Journalist Zhainagul Tazabekova worked at KTRK, Birinchi Radio, as well as at Pyramid TV and Radio Company. The deceased had a 6-month-old daughter.
