Word «spitting» is removed from Code of Violations of Kyrgyzstan and is included into asocial actions category along with other violations. Deputy Head of the Main Traffic Safety Department Imanaly Sarkulov announced at the meeting of Respublika — Ata Jurt parliamentary faction.
According to him, the proposed changes in the code remove clause 1 of Article 71, which dealt with spitting.
«We transfer all this to Article 53, which says about smoking in prohibited places. We will add a clause about asocial actions to it. Thus, the fine for spitting and other misdemeanors will be 1,000 soms,» Imanaly Sarkulov told.
The faction supported the proposed changes to the Code of Violations.
