The President of Kyrgyzstan believes that it is necessary to conduct an inventory of all licenses issued for the development of country’s deposits. Sooronbai Jeenbekov said this today at a meeting of the Security Council on Measures to Ensure Safety in Subsoil Use Sphere of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The head of state noted that it was necessary to study the world experience in tax administration. Sooronbai Jeenbekov admitted that other states had conditions for the extraction of minerals, and most of the deposits in Kyrgyzstan are located in high altitude areas.
«We need to analyze and change the situation. There are a lot of those who hide taxes. There are officials among them. There are no licenses, but ore is exported. Illegal export does not stop,» he admitted.
