Former police officer of Mailuu-Suu Department of Internal Affairs was detained when receiving a bribe in Bishkek. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The girl turned to the Internal Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. She told that a police officer named Kanybek was extorting from her 20,000 soms.
«The girl explained that the policeman demanded the money for not posting a video with her on the Internet. The extorter was caught red-handed when receiving the money. During the search, a service certificate of a police officer, sergeant of Mailuu-Suu Department of Internal Affairs was found. It turned out that the man was fired from the internal affairs bodies for negative reasons. The detainee was placed in a temporary detention facility,» the ministry said.
