Since early January, fuel has been falling in price in Kyrgyzstan. For 25 days, it dropped by 1.2 soms, the National Statistical Committee reports.
It conducts a daily calculation of average consumer prices for fuel and lubricants throughout the country. Comparison of the cost of fuel showed its decline.
AI 92 gasoline fell in price most of all — by 1.54 soms. If by the end of December its price was 44.12 soms, then as of January 25 — 42.58 soms.
Price of AI 95 gasoline dropped by 1.1 soms — from 46.53 to 45.43, and diesel fuel — by 1.02 soms — from 46.52 to 45.5.
In 2018, the fuel in the republic grew in price by 10.7 percent, diesel fuel — by 18.5 percent, gasoline — by 9.5 percent. At the same time, gasoline prices grew steadily during the year. Reduction in their cost was recorded only in August, and in the cost of diesel fuel — in December.
