Issyk-Ata District Court placed a 31-year-old woman into a psychiatric clinic for compulsory treatment. District Prosecutor’s Office informed 24.kg news agency.
The woman threw her two-month-old son into the Big Chui Canal. The baby drowned.
«During the court hearings, the defendant stated that her dead grandfather took her son. The woman asked to let her go. The sister of the defendant told that the woman had hereditary mental abnormalities since childhood. Her husband was aware of the disease of the women. He stated that his wife felt good before the birth of the child, and had no claims against her,» the supervisory authority said.
