Counterfeit clothing from Kyrgyzstan detained in Russia

Chelyabinsk customs officers arrested counterfeit goods for 13 million rubles. Russian media reported.

According to their data, a truck, which transported more than 14 tons of counterfeit adult and children’s clothing, was traveling from Kyrgyzstan to Yekaterinburg. Customs officers found in the truck nearly 10,000 pieces of clothing marked with Adidas, Reebok, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Fila, Mickey Mouse, Philipp Plein trademarks.

The damage to the trademark owners amounted to about 13 million rubles. The goods were seized and handed over to Troitsk police. The question of opening a criminal case is under consideration. Offenders carrying the illegal cargo face up to two years in prison.
