Citizens of Kazakhstan and Russia visit Kyrgyzstan most of all. The Chairman of the State Migration Service Bolotbek Ibraimzhanov announced at a government meeting.
According to him, more than 7 million foreigners have visited the republic in 2018.
«Citizens of Kazakhstan and Russia come to us most often. They are followed by citizens of Tajikistan, Turkey, China, Germany, the United States and South Korea,» Bolotbek Ibraimzhanov told.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, 54,600 visas were issued last year, at least 35,000 of them were electronic visas. The ministry totally issued 23,000 tourist visas.
