Kyrgyzstanis pay 381.7 million soms in taxes remotely in 2018

Kyrgyzstanis remotely paid 381.7 million soms in taxes through peripheral devices in 2018. The State Tax Service reported.

According to it, 318,872 tax payments were transferred to the state budget through special devices last year. Compared with 2017, the figure increased by 138,345 payments. Taxes were paid remotely by 164.8 million soms more.

The most popular with taxpayers are payment terminals, through which they transferred 275,410 payments for 271.9 million soms.

Other remote methods of payment of taxes were not less actively used. About 19,066 payments for 19.4 million soms passed through ATMs, web-cash offices — 13,555 payments for 79.6 million soms, electronic wallet — 7,905 payments for 5.7 million soms. At least 2,060 tax payments for 3.6 million soms were made through Internet banking, 536 payments for 608,000 soms — through mobile banking.

Card readers were used for the first time in 2018, through which 340 payments for 611,600 soms were made.

«Taxpayers can use any type of services to pay a number of taxes, including license-based tax, on movable and immovable property, income and land,» the State Tax Service said.

STS has entered into agreements with 19 banks on the provision of services to the public for receiving non-cash tax payments. In addition, in 2018, together with one of the mobile operators, the function of payment of taxes and payments through the Balance mobile app was implemented.
