Richest judges in Kyrgyzstan announced

Research and information resource Politmer has announced the top 10 richest judges in Kyrgyzstan.

According to 2017 income declarations, nine out of ten judges with the highest income work in Bishkek, and one — in Osh.

Judge of the Supreme Court of the Constitutional Chamber of Kyrgyzstan Mukambet Kasymaliev earned most of all 319 servants of Themis, whose declarations were posted on the website of the State Tax Service. His average monthly income in 2017 was more than half a million soms, and the annual — more than 7 million soms.

The former chairman of the Constitutional Chamber owns cattle, horses and household appliances for 1.6 million soms, a car. Close relative of Mukambet Kasymaliev has a flat of 132 square meters, an unfinished garage and a container.

Being the chairman of the Supreme Court of Constitutional Chamber in 2015, Mukambet Kasymaliev earned 2 million soms less than when taking a post of ordinary judge.

At least 225 million soms have been spent on the salary of 319 judges from the state budget. On average, 705,000 soms are spent on the maintenance of a judge annually.

The judge of the Bishkek City Court Saltanat Bektemirova takes the second place in terms of income, and the third place is taken by the judge of the Chui Regional Court Ulan Sadyrbekov. Each of them has earned 4.8 million soms.

Kurmantai Abdiev closes the top 10 of the richest judges in the country. His annual income amounted to 1.7 million soms.
