The criminal case of the convicted former deputy of the Parliament, Sadyr Japarov, will be reviewed in court. The First Deputy Chairman of the State Penitentiary Service Zhorobek Duishembiev told at a press conference.
According to him, Sadyr Japarov was convicted also for repetition of the crime. Since a person is not tried for a repeated offense under the new Criminal Code, the case of the former parliament member will be reviewed.
«In total, about 3,000 criminal cases will be submitted to the court for review. Their defendants were convicted of minor crimes and repetition of a crime,» said Zhorobek Duishembiev.
Recall, courts of three instances sentenced the ex-deputy of the Parliament Sadyr Japarov to 11 years and 6 months in high security prison for complicity in organizing a rally in Karakol in 2013 and hostage taking.
