The third for the week case of illegal import of heavy trucks into Kyrgyzstan has been detected. The State Customs Service reported.
A scheme for evasion of customs duties was revealed in Kyrgyzstan in 2017. More than 120 expensive vehicles are under arrest. Their number may be larger. The State Customs Service, the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes and the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue checks.
Thus, customs officers detained three Volvo heavy trucks and two Alta and Obermaier trailers in this case. The total amount of due customs duties is estimated at 6,398,900 soms.
Materials were sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office for consideration and making a decision.
