About 4,800 cases of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) and influenza were registered in Kyrgyzstan from January 14 to January 21. Press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
Compared with the same period of 2018, there is a stable epidemiological situation concerning influenza and ARVI.
According to the results of the monitoring from the 40th week of 2018 till the 1st week of 2019, a high incidence was observed during the 50th week of the last year — 9,125 cases.
«A laboratory study of blood tests from 256 patients for influenza was conducted. The diagnosis was confirmed in 108 cases (42.1 percent),» the Ministry of Health stressed.
