A database of children in difficult life situation will appear in Kyrgyzstan. The Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Altynai Omurbekova stated.
Altynai Omurbekova noted that in order to promptly intervene and solve various issues, there was a need to create an electronic database that would allow keeping records and promptly assist children raised in the absence of parents, children with disabilities, prevent abuse and violence against them.
«Protection of children in difficult life situations involves the provision of comprehensive services, and therefore ministries and departments in the field of social protection, education, health, internal affairs bodies and the registration service, interacting with children, should have an access to the database,» said Altynai Omurbekova.
She stressed that confidentiality should be taken into account in the development of the electronic database module.
Altynai Omurbekova instructed to create an interdepartmental working group to develop the concept of the integrated database of children in difficult life situations.
