«We need to develop about 200 bills and about 600 government decrees in order to eliminate conflicts and gaps in the new Codes,» the Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Zhenish Razakov said speaking in the Parliament.
According to the deputy Dastan Bekeshev, «there is not a single ideal law anywhere in the world. Once the Codes have come into force, we must correct them and move on, rather than looking for the guilty.»
He stressed that 99 percent of the deputies supported the new codes, the president signed them, and it was wrong to look for the guilty.
«Zhenish Razakov, you constantly refer to experts, but you are a responsible person. You had 2 years for amendment. It was possible to make bills, and you brought a package at the end of 2018,» the deputy addressed the deputy prime minister.
Zhenish Razakov noted that the Cabinet gave an opinion on Codes and laws, but they were not fully taken into account. «We are making these changes now,» he said.
According to the deputy prime minister, a working group has been established that would find conflicts and deficiencies in the Codes. «We need to develop about 200 bills and about 600 government decrees in order to eliminate conflicts and gaps. The first stage is completed, bills on fines and traffic rules are in the Parliament,» he added.
