«We must maximally convert all services into electronic format,» Aziz Surakmatov, the Mayor of Bishkek, said at a meeting in the Bishkek City Administration.
He recalled that 2019 was declared in Kyrgyzstan the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization of the country.
«It is necessary to maximally simplify the receipt of various certificates and reduce the number of visits to services and do it through a network in order a city resident can come to one place and immediately get all the necessary certificates, and not to go to five or six places. We need to think how to do it better,» the mayor said.
The First Vice Mayor of Bishkek Almaz Baketaev said that a general concept on digitalization in the capital was developed. It covers all services provided by municipal units and services.
«An order on creation of a tender commission on the development of a local network and the acquisition of equipment is being prepared currently,» Almaz Baketaev added.
