In 2018, Kyrgyzstan built 68 schools and sports halls for them. The Secretary of State of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services Samat Borubaev told at a press conference.
According to him, about 2,946.9 billion soms were allocated from the budget under the item «Capital investments» in 2018. These funds were used for financing of the construction of 256 social and cultural facilities, 89 water supply facilities, overhaul of 95 objects and designing of social facilities for 10 million soms.
«In 2018, at least 101 social facilities were built, including 68 schools, 6 kindergartens, 8 sports halls, 5 healthcare facilities, 4 water supply facilities and others. 38 social facilities were repaired,» Samat Borubaev stressed.
