The State Registration Service of Kyrgyzstan is conducting an audit of a tender for the purchase of forms for biometric passports with violations. 24.kg news agency was informed.
An auditor is selected by a direct contract. The attached documents indicate that the basis for this are «additional construction works or services not exceeding 25 percent of the cost of the contract concluded on the basis of a tender, related to the expansion of previously started works or an increase in volume, and the involvement of the same contractor will ensure cost-effectiveness and compatibility of results.»
The sum of the tender for the purchase of forms is 1,263.8 billion soms. Anyone who agrees to conduct an audit of this competition will be paid 25,000 soms only.
Opening of tender bids took place on November 19. Applications were submitted by five companies. The SRS told that the winner would be chosen not earlier than in February. The service did not explain the reasons for the dragged out process.
