Vice Speaker of the Parliament Mirlan Bakirov received the organizers of today’s rally in Bishkek. Representative of the protesters Amanbol Babakulov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the vice speaker accepted their demands and promised to voice them at the meeting of the Parliament today.
«He said that work on the implementation of our requirements would begin and national control over state affairs would be set,» said Amanbol Babakulov.
«We are now trying to calm down the crowd,» he added.
Protesters on Ala-Too Square continue to demand meeting with government officials, including deputies of the Parliament.
«They deceived our representatives and sent them back. We demand from them to come here. Are they afraid of us?» protesters shout.
