The Committee of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on International Affairs, Defense and Security approved the candidature of Kanaiym Baktygulova for the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the PRC. She has already headed the diplomatic mission in China from 2013 to 2017.
Previously, Azamat Usenov took the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to China. In December 2018, by the decree of the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, he was dismissed.
Members of the committee also supported the candidature of Bolot Otunbayev for the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the United States and of Alikbek Dzhekshenkulov — for the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia.
