Bishkek — Moscow flight was sent to a reserve airfield in Nizhny Novgorod city of Russia. Passengers told 24.kg news agency.
The plane took off yesterday at 5.05 pm from Bishkek. Passengers on board were told that the aircraft landed at the alternate aerodrome due to overcrowded Sheremetyevo airport.
At 8 pm Moscow time, passengers traveling from Bishkek left for Moscow. An hour later, the plane landed in the capital of Russia.
One of the reasons for the delay and cancellation of flights at Sheremetyevo was an incident on the runway. The plane of the Czech company Smart Wings skidded off the runway, and it was closed. There were 40 passengers and 7 crew members aboard, no one was injured.
