A gang of dealers who supplied drugs from Central Asia to Russia were detained; at least 43 kilograms of heroin were confiscated. RIA Novosti reports with reference to FSB of Russia.
It is noted that the cross-border criminal group was eliminated during a multi-stage operation. The large channel of heroin smuggling from Central Asia has been suppressed. The suspects are citizens of several states.
«Despite the fact that drug traffickers handed over the drug at night in the forest area in Moscow, and used various tricks, active members of the criminal group were caught red-handed at the final stage of the operation. At least 43 kilograms of heroin were seized,» press release says.
A criminal case was initiated; the detainees were placed in a detention center.
