Users of Facebook social networking website are discussing a video in which a young man spits over the fence of the White House in Bishkek.
In such a way the guy decided to protest against fines for spitting on the streets of the city. Police officers identified the person. It was 26-year-old resident of Ton district of Issyk-Kul region. On January 7, he was taken to the local police department, where he wrote an explanatory letter.
The young man said in the video posted on Instagram that he was ready to take responsibility for this act.
The Violations Code came into force in Kyrgyzstan on January 1, 2019. According to Article 71, «throwing, burning of household garbage, items in unauthorized places and spitting» entail a fine.
