The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov told why the country had not previously succeeded in reforming the judicial system.
The head of state noted that five codes and two laws would come into force on January 1 on the implementation of which the judicial reform depends.
«Before that, judicial and legal reforms were carried out separately. The difference of our reform is that we carry them out together, they are closely related. It is impossible to consider them separately,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov said.
Many responsible persons try to keep repressive laws and are indifferent to innovations.

«According to the working group, there are people who do not want to accept the reform. They have outdated views, so they want to preserve the current system and not to move into the legal field. But I want to say: we will punish everyone who slows down the reform. Reform depends on all of us and on everyone. Treat reform as your family, your brainchild,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov stressed.
