69 students get presidential scholarships in Kyrgyzstan

The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov handed presidential scholarships to the best students in the country. Press service of the head of Kyrgyzstan reported.

«You were the best among 160,000 students. You have achieved the best results through your knowledge and work. The more you are educated, the brighter the world around you is, the opener the path is. Whatever profession you choose in the future, you will achieve success through your work and perseverance. We hope that each of you will become the best specialist in your field,» noted Sooronbai Jeenbekov.

He stressed that education was considered in Kyrgyzstan as the main resource for the development of the country, the education sector was financed on a priority basis.

«Only an educated society can build a developed state. Today, the face of the economy has changed. There are more and more areas related to intellectual work. When you finish your studies, new areas, technologies and professions will appear in the world. Among them are professions based on biotechnology, nanotechnology, composite materials, new medicine, new ecology. The nature of today’s information society will change. Successes in your life will be connected with your abilities to master these changes,» the president said.

Presidential scholarship is handed annually to the best students of universities in the country for achievements in studies and social life. Its size is 50,000 soms for an academic year (10 months).
