Rosinbank to need investors after rehabilitation

Recovery period of Rosinbank continues. The Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Tolkunbek Abdygulov said at a press conference today.

According to him, it is too early to estimate the work of the new team. Only two months have passed since the change of management at the financial institution. The head of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is sure that the new team needs at least 6 months, and only then the results of its work should be assessed.

«The National Bank is working in accordance with the bank’s rehabilitation plan. I think that as soon as the measures are completed, we will begin negotiations with investors on the further fate of Rosinbank,» Tolkunbek Abdygulov summed up.

Earlier, the National Bank acquired 5,604,844 common inscribed shares of the Russian Investment Bank. In total, this amounted to 71.65 percent of the authorized capital of the bank.
