Kyrgyzstanis won the Temirtau Open International Tournament in taekwondo ITF. The Taekwondo Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by Oleg Lim, informed 24.kg news agency.
Competitions were held in Temirtau (Kazakhstan). More than 300 athletes from different cities of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan competed for victory in several age groups. More than 30 taekwondo wrestlers represented our country — trainees of Urmat Sadyrbekov from Shopokov town and Nurdin Kaimov from Balykchy town.
Zholdubai Barikov, Adina Romova, Gulshair Akmatkulova, Daniyar Kurmanbaev, Burul Sultankulova and Kudaibergen Sultankulov took the first places in their categories. Kyrgyzstanis also won a lot of silver and bronze medals.
«Our taekwondo wrestlers became the third in the final medal standings,» the federation informed.
