Drone aircrafts to monitor smog over Bishkek

The State Agency for Environment Protection and Forestry of Kyrgyzstan intends to daily monitor the environmental situation in Bishkek using multifunctional unmanned aerial vehicles (drones). Press service of the agency reported.

According to it, the decision was made by the head of the agency Abdykalyk Rustamov at a meeting dedicated to the adoption of urgent measures on improvement of the environmental situation in Bishkek.

«Employees of the State Agency for Environment Protection and Forestry will daily monitor the central streets of the city as well as the newly built quarters, will inspect bathhouses, saunas, areas of large private enterprises and capital’s markets to detect vehicles with excess emissions of pollutants, illegal parking lots, traffic jams, burning of tires, oils and garment waste facts with the help of drones,» the agency reported.

Materials on offenses will be sent to the state authorities (the State Technical Inspection, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Traffic Safety Department, and others) for taking prompt actions to bring the perpetrators to administrative responsibility.
