Citizen of Kyrgyzstan took the 1st place at the International Tournament Kazakhstan Open 2018 in kyokushin karate. President of Kyokushin Karate Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Baatyrbekov told 24.kg news agency.
The competitions were held on December 21-23 in Astana with the participation of 350 athletes from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan.
«Four wrestlers represented Kyrgyzstan. Asylbek uulu Arslanbek took the second place among the adults in the weight category of 65 kilograms. Nurmakhamad Kanimetov became the champion among the athletes of 10-11 years in the category of 40 kilograms,» Almazbek Baatyrbekov said.
