Ex-chairwoman of Sverdlovsky District Court arrested in Bishkek

The Pervomaisky District Court issued a sanction on the arrest of the ex-chairwoman of the Sverdlovsky District Court of Bishkek, Elvira Dzharkeeva. The court informed 24.kg news agency.

Elvira Dzharkeeva is reportedly suspected of abuse of power, fraud, making a deliberately unjust verdict and corruption.

According to investigators, Elvira Dzharkeeva, being a judge, entered into a conspiracy with a criminal group. In order to possess the property of one of the companies, she made a number of illegal court decisions.

In 2016, the judge, violating the rules of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, considered in absentia a lawsuit invalidating the transaction on transfer of 100 percent of a company and canceling the re-registration decision in the Ministry of Justice, despite the fact that the application was to be considered by the Interdistrict Court.

As a result, a fictitious loan agreement for 20,500,000 soms for a period of five days was signed.

On the basis of this agreement, the borrower applied to the Sverdlovsky District Court with a statement to transfer him 100 percent of the share with all the property. In 2016, Elmira Dzharkeeva fully satisfied the claims.

The former chairwoman of the Sverdlovsky Court, Elvira Dzharkeeva, is already a defendant in the criminal case initiated by the Prosecutor General’s Office in late October on abuse of power and making knowingly unjust sentence charges of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
