Builders of Osh-Batken-Isfana highway do not receive salaries for a year. Driver Bekzhan uulu Uran told today at a press conference.
According to him, he provided Chakyr Yapi Sanayive Tijaret with special equipment and worked on it himself.
«We a not paid for a year. They owe me alone 490,000 soms,» said Bekzhan uulu Uran.
He explained that Chakyr Yapi Sanayive Tijaret was the contractor for the construction of Suusamyr-Talas-Taraz highway. There were no delays in payments in this project. This company is involved as a subcontractor in Osh — Batken — Isfana highway construction.
«The construction is carried out by Alke Insaat Sanayi and Tijaret A.S. The owners of this company are the same like of Chakyr Yapi Sanayive Tijaret,» said Bekzhan uulu Uran.
The road reconstruction project (from the 75th to the 108th kilometer) is funded by the Islamic Development Bank. The IDB allocates $ 21.32 million for this purpose, the share of co-financing by the government of Kyrgyzstan is $ 2.44 million. The total project cost is estimated at $ 23.76 million.
