Police found out who left 18-months-old child at a bus stop in Burana village, Chui region. Press service of the regional police department reported.
The child was found at a bus stop on December 10. Later, the police found his mother. She was a 23-year-old resident of Issyk-Ata district. She has three children. She broke up with her partner a year ago.
«Due to financial difficulties, the woman gave her youngest son born in 2017 to her former partner. On December 10, she came to his home and left the child. But the father did not want to take him. The relatives of the man also did not want to take the child. On the same day, the grandmother left the boy at a bus stop in the village. She also reported to the police about the abandoned child,» the police department told.
Materials of the case were sent to the Juvenile Affairs Commission for a decision.
The child has been in the Children’s Department of the Chui Regional Hospital for 10 days. Today, he was transferred to the Tokmak Specialized Rehabilitation Center.
«Parents do not have documents for the child. Perhaps, he will be placed in the Baby House. When the birth certificate is issued, he will be handed over to the parents,» the Ministry of Labor and Social Development said.
