Zhenishbek Nogoibaev was appointed the acting Minister of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan. The Information Support Department of the Cabinet reported.

Zhenishbek Nogoibaev will head the ministry until a new member of the government is appointed in accordance with the established procedure. The order on his appointment was signed by the Prime Minister Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev.

The President Sooronbai Jeenbekov was outraged by the presence of the Transport Minister at the meeting of the Security Council and stated that it was a shame. The reaction from Zhamshitbek Kalilov followed immediately. He wrote a letter of resignation, which was accepted by the prime minister and the head of state.

The reason for criticism of the head of the Ministry of Transport and his dismissal was the detention of Deputy Minister of Transport Azimkan Zhusubaliev with a bribe of $ 50,000 on December 5.
