The first batch of equipment has been delivered within Safe City project. Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Information Technologies and Communications Kubanych Shatemirov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, Vega Radio Engineering Corporation should deliver the equipment by December 25. The first batch has arrived. «Installation will begin as soon as equipment becomes available and infrastructure and metal structures are ready. Works are on schedule and even ahead of schedule,» Kubanych Shatemirov told.
In the framework of the first stage, Vega has delivered cameras for 10 intersections, 17 speed lines and 10 mobile complexes.
The State Committee of Information Technologies and Communications has signed an agreement with Vega Radio Engineering Corporation for the implementation of the first phase of Safe City project. The company won the tender.
The company offered 1,125 billion soms for the first lot, for the second — 1,195 billion soms. At least 38 intersections and 52 stationary posts will be equipped with cameras recording violations.
