Mother of a two-year-old baby, who died from beatings at the National Center of Maternity and Child Welfare, refused to write a statement against her friend. Information was confirmed by the Police Department for Chui region.
The child was raised by her 32-year-old female friend. She brought the baby to the hospital when he was unconscious.
Expertise was appointed. The investigation is underway, since there is a preliminary conclusion of the doctors of the center that the boy was beaten before his death. A criminal case was initiated on grievous bodily harm that caused death charges of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This is not the first case of child abuse in Kyrgyzstan. In January 2015, brutally beaten up two-year-old Ibragim was taken to hospital. The kid is disabled now.
