The former president also stressed that he had always asked law enforcement agencies to act according to the law.
«But in my answer, I really said that perhaps at that moment it was necessary to go against the law and tell the law enforcement officers not to imprison him. Who knows, perhaps the security forces had their grievances against him, but, on the contrary, I said: «On the one hand, this will be correct, on the other, you will make Omurbek Chirkeshovich a hero.» I repeat once again, may God forgive me, I could, probably, break the law and not let the security forces imprison him.
