The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov, speaking today at an International Conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, recalled that Kyrgyzstan would enter a new legal environment from 2019.
According to him, a new version of the Criminal Code will begin to work from January 1. A registry of crimes and offenses is introduced. The Probation Institute will start functioning.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov noted that our country complied with the international standards for the protection of human rights, and stressed that Kyrgyzstan was the first to accede to the Universal Declaration of the Human Rights. The day of the adoption of the declaration is marked around the world as the Human Rights Day.
