Religious extremism among children threatens Kyrgyzstan

Threat of children’s religious extremism is brewing in Kyrgyzstan. Zhamal Frontbek kyzy, head of Mutkalim Progressive Muslim Women Movement stated at a round table discussion.

According to her, children are most vulnerable. They can be influenced. Children from dysfunctional and single-parent families are at risk.

«The danger, in my opinion, in the future is represented by charitable organizations helping children who are financed from the budgets of Arab countries. We have 50 such organizations,» added Zhamal Frontbek kyzy.
