Committee of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on International Affairs, Defense and Security approved the candidacy of Zhanysh Rustenbekov for the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan. The decision was made today at a meeting.
Zhanysh Rustenbekov is an Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan. The diplomatic mission in Tajikistan is now headed by Miroslav Niyazov, whose term of office has come to an end.
Zhanysh Rustenbekov is 69 years old. At various times, he worked as Secretary of State under the President, Governor of Osh region, Deputy of the Assembly of People’s Representatives of the Parliament, Minister of Emergency Situations, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Kazakhstan.
