The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov met with Presidents of Moldova Igor Dodon and Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the framework of events dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey in Istanbul. Press service of the head of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov and Recep Erdogan reportedly discussed the results of the fourth meeting of the High Council of Strategic Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey held on September 1, 2018 in Bishkek and considered further development of multi-dimensional cooperation, including trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and military-technical spheres.
At another meeting, Sooronbai Jeenbekov and Igor Dodon discussed ways of deepening bilateral trade and economic cooperation, development of a political dialogue, and prospects for the development of cultural and humanitarian ties. The parties exchanged views on international agenda issues and interaction within the framework of integration associations.
The President of Moldova Igor Dodon thanked Sooronbai Jeenbekov for the invitation to visit Kyrgyzstan, noting the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries, the press service said.
