Four minor children who were left without parental care have been repatriated to Kyrgyzstan from Novosibirsk Oblast of Russia. The press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development reported.
According to it, the children are to be placed in an orphanage, the ministry’s staff are working to reunite them with biological families.
«Children are left without parental care outside their home country for various reasons. The main of them are the lack of a permanent place of residence and earnings, an unregistered marriage, an unwanted pregnancy, or the fact that one of the parents is in a place of detention,» the ministry said.
According to the Ministry of Labor, 89 abandoned children have been returned to their homeland since 2011, 10 of them — in 2018.
