Andrei Pisarev arrived to Kyrgyzstan. Tomorrow he is going to give a concert, he did not announce a program, but said that he will play works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, List Ferents, Sergei Rachmaninov and others.
He said at a news conference that it is the third time he visits Kyrgyzstan.
“I visited the country in 1982, when I was a student, and I visited Kyrgyzstan in November 2006 for the second time, when there were rallies.” He witnessed rallies, but he is not afraid of visiting the country again.
“Ala-Too Symphony” public musical foundation organized the concert. The head of the foundation Nailya Rahmadieva said the only disadvantage of the concert is that is no qualitative instrument in Kyrgyzstan that could open Pisarev’s talent.
“Good concert grand costs $150 thousand and higher,” she said.
She also said that Pisarev met with students of Kyrgyz Conservatory today.

He became famous in 1983; he won 1st Prize in the Rachmaninov Piano Competition. But many critics specially mention he victory in the International Mozart Competition in Salzburg, when he won 1st Prize - which was the first time since 1956 that a first prize had been awarded in this competition.
