Government denies information of Omurbek Tekebayev about Kyrgyzstanis working in EEC 

Omurbek Tekebayev's data regarding citizens of Kyrgyzstan appointed to various positions in the Eurasian Economic Commission is incorrect, the department of information policy of the Kyrgyz presidential administration informed.

According to it, Daniyar Turusbekov is not the son of the head of the Department of Presidential Affairs Turusbek Koenaliev. 

It is reported that Daniyar Turusbekov, who was appointed the director of protocol of EEC department, graduated from three universities, before being appointed to his current position, he worked in the department of economic development of the Bishkek Mayor's Office, the Office of Presidential Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government, President's Office Protocol sector and is also an expert of department of foreign policy.

Ilya Chernyi is not related to the owners of shares Kyrgyzavtomash and Kyrgyzradiator. Prior to his appointment in the EEC, he has worked at the Center for the attraction of direct investments at the State Property Committee, was an advisor to its chairman, the deputy head of the department of financial and economic analysis and monitoring of the presidential administration.

Daniyar Turusbekov and Ilya Chernyi as well as Paiza Suyumbaev, were appointed to posts in the EEC on the basis of competitive selection process conducted by an international organization, the report said.

It is noted that the decision on the appointment of candidates who meet the requirements set by EEC, is made by a majority vote of the members of its board.

Quotas on the appointment of the Director and Deputy Directors of the EEC departments are distributed among the participating countries on an equitable basis.

Recall, yesterday the leader of Ata Meken faction Omurbek Tekebayev listed names of Daniyar Turusbekov, Paiza Suyumbaeva and Ilya Chernyi, saying that the persons from the presidential entourage hinder Kyrgyzstan from joining the EEU, and asked the Prime Minister how they received positions in the Eurasian Economic Commission.
