Kyrgyzstan left without national health programs

In 2017, Kyrgyzstan was left without national health programs, the deputy Aida Ismayilova said in the Parliament.

According to her, HIV and TB programs ended in 2016. The reproductive health strategy - even earlier, in 2015. There are no documents at all on oncology, hepatitis and diabetes.

"The Minister of Health Talantbek Batyraliev says about the transition to international standards. About what standards we can speak, if there is no even national program? In the summer of 2016, we took the decision to extend national program "Den sooluk," which also ended in 2016. But this is still not done," Aida Ismayilova protested.

Health Deputy Minister Amangeldy Murzaliev informed that "Den sooluk" was adopted in 2012.

"But funding started only in 2014. We have decided to extend it until 2018.  Ee will represent modified program soon," the official said.
