Land Forces established in Kyrgyzstan

Land Forces were formed in the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic. The decree was signed by the President Almazbek Atambayev,  Information Policy Department of the President informs.

According to it, Land Forces of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic - regulatory body of land units, parts and bodies, it takes instructions directly from the General Staff.

Commander of the Land Forces is appointed and dismissed by the President - Chief of the Armed Forces - on the proposal of the Chief of the General Staff.

Colonel Erlis Terdikbaev was appointed the Commander of the Land Forces.
