Almazbek Atambaev instructs Ministry of Education and Science to monitor quality of construction of schools 

Almazbek Atambaev instructed the Ministry of Education and Science as well as the competent state authorities to monitor the quality of construction of schools. He stated this at a meeting with the head of the Ministry Gulmira Kudaiberdieva, the information policy department of the presidential administration reported.

According to it, the head of state was reported on measures on improvement of the school education quality in the country, as well as the main directions of optimization of the network of higher education institutions.

Gulmira Kudaiberdieva informed the President about the implementation of "Safe Schools and pre-school organizations in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2015-2024 years" program.

According to the Minister, in 2016, 76 schools have been constructed and major renovation has been completed at about 100 schools of the country. Overhaul is carried out in additional 28 schools at the expense of savings according to submitted applications.
